St James’s House is producing a trio of titles to celebrate the centenary of the Royal Air Force. After the amazing success of The Queen’s 90th Birthday Celebration project, for which we were an official partner, we’re looking to build further on our relationships with the best of British institutions.
Over the coming 18 months we will be launching three new official RAF titles:
This high-end coffee table book tells the amazing story of the RAF, from its inception in 1918 to the present day. Including fascinating archive materials from the RAF Museum, this beautifully designed publication is a must-have for fans of aviation and history alike.
Packed with breathtaking photography and stories from an institution that has helped shape the world as we know it like few others, this official centenary album is a timeless keepsake, honouring the commitment and bravery of our air force servicemen and servicewomen, past and present.
A selection of the world’s top chefs have teamed up with serving RAF personnel to create this unique cookbook, which spans 100 years, 100 countries and 100 recipes.
Researched, cooked, photographed and written by active and former RAF personnel, the book tours 100 of the territories that the RAF has held a presence in since 1918, telling the amazing stories of its involvement in each region and providing a delicious, authentic local recipe that you’ll want to try at home.
Contributions from such household names as James Martin, Tom Kerridge and Cyrus Todiwala add a dash of celebrity spice to the mix.
On 10 July 2018, Her Majesty The Queen will host a party on The Mall in London to celebrate the RAF’s centenary.
St James’s House is producing the official programme for the event, at which 10,000 people will sit down to lunch with members of the Royal Family, foreign dignitaries, RAF personnel and charity representatives.
Including a fly-past over Buckingham Palace, the celebrations will be watched by many thousands more in nearby Green Park and Hyde Park.
